'JIVY OMELET' 

It will be pure feasting again. This time lunch JIVY OMELET with a spicy bite.
You just have to taste this! The dish is like Rock & Roll enjoying a Jivy.
Like a happy egg for omnivores, carnivores and vegetarians. A triple feast.
It is low budget, easy to prepare and a delight for the hungry throat.

JIVY OMELET

INGREDIENTS

◻︎Eggs 4x
◻︎Sunflower oil 6 tbsp.
◻︎Onion 1x
◻︎Garlic 1 clove
◻︎Red Chili 1x
◻︎Djahé 1 tsp.
◻︎Sea salt 1 tsp.
◻︎Brown Sugar 1 tsp.

TOOLS

◻︎Wajang
◻︎Whisk (mixer)
◻︎Ladle

◻︎Peeler
◻︎Carving knife
◻︎Cuttingboard
◻︎Table spoon
◻︎Cup (sunflower oil)
◻︎Bowl 
◻︎Big flat plate

MISE en PLACE
1. Peel the garlic. Finely slice the garlic clove.
2. Peel the onion. Chop finely.
3. Remove the stalk from the chili. Finely chop the chili.
4. Put the oil in a glass or cup.
5. Place all ingredients and tools neatly on the countertop.

THE EGGS
1. Put the contents of the eggs in a bowl.
2. Add sea salt.
3. Mix eggs until fluffy and smooth. The colour looks like vanilla custard.

PREPARE
1. Put the wajang on low heat.
2. Add 3 tbsp. sunflower oil and bring to temperature.
3. Add the fluffy egg mix to the pan. Let this cook soft and gently.
4. Then add on top of the egg-mix spread:
◻︎Brown Sugar ◻︎Lombok ◻︎Garlic ◻︎Djahé ◻︎Kurkuma.
5. Gently scatter the spices on top.
6. Let this simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
7. Gently loosen the omelette at the sides.
8. Add 3 tbsp. oil to the sides.
9. Gently turn the omelette over and cook for about 10 minutes.
10. Remove the omelet from the pan and place it on a big flat plate.

ONIONS TOPIC
1. Leave the cooking liquid from the omelette in the pan.
2. Add the chopped onions. Stir everything together gently.
3. Fry the onions until brown. Then sprinkle this over the omelette.
The JIVY OMELET is ready. Add bread or rice and enjoy. Selamat makan!
