Mamma❤️ was a golden top chef and made the most delicious dishes.
I learned a lot from her, such as this delicious Hachee, which I prepare in my own way.
MOMs Hachee is easy to prepare and easy on the eye.
A pinch of love and these ingredients make this dish a great treat.

INGREDIENTS

◻︎Beef 400 grams
◻︎4 Onions (large)
◻︎Red Peppers 2x
◻︎Garlic 3 cloves
◻︎Tomato puree 140 grams
◻︎Brown sugar 1 tbsp.
◻︎Soy sauce sweet 10 tbsp.
◻︎Rice vinegar 1 tbsp.
◻︎Fish sauce 1 tbsp.
◻︎Black Pepper 1 tsp.
◻︎Cloves ½ tsp.
◻︎Sea salt 1 tsp.
◻︎Bay leaf 3x
◻︎Olive oil oil 2 tbsp.
◻︎Water 2 tbsp.

TOOLS

◻︎Slow Cooker
◻︎Peeler
◻︎Cutting knife
◻︎Cutting board
◻︎Teaspoon
◻︎Tablespoon
◻︎Stirring spoon

MISE en PLACE

1. Finely chop meat.
2. Coarsely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut Red Peppers into small pieces.
4. Place everything clearly and ready on the counter for Preparation.

PREPARATION
◻︎Bring 2 tbsp. Olive oil in the bottom of the Slow Cooker.
◻︎Add the meat into the Slow Cooker.
◻︎Add to the meat:  Cloves, Sea Salt, Red Peppers, Tomato Puree, Brown Sugar.
◻︎Fish sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce and black pepper.
◻︎Mix everything to stir.
◻︎Add Onions and Garlic. Stir to mix.
◻︎Place the Bay Leaves in between.
◻︎Add 2 tbsp. Water.
◻︎Put the lid on the pan.

TURN SLOW COOKER ON (mode on low).
◻︎Let the whole thing cook quietly for a long time (approx. 8 hours).
◻︎Stir it occasionally after about 2 hours of cooking. Then put the lid back on the pan.

COOK RICE. Follow the packaging instructions.
◻︎Cook the rice about ½ hour before the Hachee is cooked.
◻︎Stir Hachee to mix. Put the lid back on the pan.
TURN OFF THE SLOW COOKER. The Rice and Mams Hachee are finished. Selamat Makan!
